Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to parts of Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. Enter your zip code on our home page for specific delivery rates.

What are my responsibilities as the renter of the inflatable?

A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise all activity in and around the inflatable unit while it is in use. The adult must know and enforce all safety rules. The renter is responsible for the safety of all participants and care of the equipment.

Do you have a generator?

Yes, we do have a generator. Please add it during the reservation process and we
will bring it to the event. This will provide power to the inflatable for approximately 8 to 10 hours.

Can I keep the unit overnight?

We prefer to pick the unit up the same day. Arrangements can be made for next day pick up providing it is a secure location. Additional fees do apply.

Does the blower have to run all the time?

Yes, the blower keeps the inflatable unit inflated. As long as all riders have exited safely, the blower can be unplugged to deflate the bouncer or slide. This is sometimes necessary to give the adult supervisors a break and to let the children take a breather.

What kind of power is needed?

Our inflatable units plug into a standard 110V household outlet. We will supply a heavy-duty extension cord and ask that nothing else be plugged into the same outlet. If your rental unit requires more than one blower we recommend plugging in only one blower per circuit to prevent a blown breaker. Outlet must be within 100ft. of the location the unit is to be set up. If not please add a generator to the order.

What does the rental price include?

The rental price includes professional installation at the location of your event and removal of the unit when your event has ended. Please check your zip code on our home page to see if you are in our current delivery area.

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

We recommend making a reservation as soon as you have a date for your event. Our coverage area is large and we have units reserved several weeks in advance.

Can we have an inflatable in an area where there is no electricity?

Yes, we do offer a generator to rent for those times there is not electricity available for only $120.00. Please add it to your order during the reservation process or contact us prior to the event for availability.

What do I need to do to prepare for the rental?

Make sure there will be easy access to the setup site for delivery and that there are no rocks, sticks, animal droppings or other debris in the area. The area must be flat and free from tree limbs and any utility lines.

What type of surface can the inflatable be placed on?

The safest surface is a level grassy area. However we can set up on asphalt or concrete. Hard surfaces must be smooth and clean. Please note that we will not set up on dirt or sand.

Can I mow my yard the same day of my event?

We would prefer for you to mow your yard no sooner than 2 days prior to your event. This helps prevent excessive grass clipping from getting in the units.

How much room do I need to have one setup in my yard?

Please refer to the description area on the our inflatable tab. This will provide you with the size of the unit. An additional 6 ft. on each side must be added to provide a safe zone around the unit.

What happens if it rains?

During the period of severe weather condition (I.E. rain/high wind) Deliver The Party reserves the right to cancel your reservation, and issue a full reimbursement.

Once delivery has been made, regardless of inclement weather, no refunds as a result of weather are allowed. If inclement weather (rain, heavy winds, lightning) occurs on the date of your event and you cancel your services prior to us having left for delivery, you could be eligible for a refund. If you choose to reschedule, credit will be vaild for 12 months from the event date.

What is the difference between making a Private or Public event reservation?

Private events are the most common, they are a typical birthday party, that is 'invitation only', while Public events are 'open to the public', like a community 4th of July Celebration. The difference is important because only certain Party Rental companies that have fulfill the State Requirements and have fulfilled the requirements to be "Permitted" by the State and are "Permitted / Certified" by the State are eligible to have items at Public Events.

This means several things, including that DeliverTheParty has been safety trained and safety inspected and is annually by the State, with an 'in person' inspection of our equipment to ensure the highest standard of safety and training for your event. It is ILLEGAL for a Party Rental business to provide Inflatable Attractions to a Public Event without fulfilling State Requirements. Many businesses DO NOT fulfill those requirements, however DeliverTheParty DOES. We manage all of the State paperwork for your event to property 'report' the event to the State and fulfill the events State Requirements. For your Public events, its even more important that you choose DeliverTheParty, for a safe and legal event.

How long do we get the inflatable for?

Reservations are "Per Event", and the DeliverTheParty definition of "Per Event" is up to six hours total.

We deliver as late as 30 minutes prior to the event start time and as early as the day prior to your event.

Additional charges may apply for reservations outside of the websites hourly options provided during your online reservation.
